OTP is an Oxfordshire-based staging and temporary structures specialist, serving the events industry both locally and UK wide. OTP supplies a range of covered stages, Layher staging and event structures. The company also offers extensive dry hire equipment listings across these categories and is the leading Oxfordshire hire stockist for LiteDeck staging, stage drapes, truss and rigging accessories.
Production standards
In addition to strict compliance with legislative and CDM regulations, OTP is also fully aware of the production standards required to make events a success at every level and strives to apply the highest possible standards to all that it does; building a reputation on this basic but vital principle with industry peers who now sub-contract specialist aspects of other high-profile events to OTP.
In 2022 OTP was principal structures supplier to Superbloom at the Tower of London, providing services from pre-planning consultancy through to installation and finishing. A globally advertised event as part of Historic Royal Palaces platinum jubilee celebrations.
Creativity
OTP prides itself on its can-do problem-solving attitude and has in-house creative graphic, aesthetic and engineering design and workshop skills; a key advantage when client production briefs require visual concepts; original creative technical solutions for set; bespoke props construction; and other custom builds. OTP now boasts a fully fitted workshop setup for both aluminium and steel fabrication, alongside full CNC timber machining abilities.
Location
In March 2019, after eight years at Didcot, OTP moved its premises to Wallingford, between Oxford and Reading in the Thames Valley M4 corridor. The company is ideally located to enjoy easy access across Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Hampshire; as well as east-west along the M4 to Wales or central London and north-south along the A34 and M40 to the midlands or south coast.
